Drive past Town Center at Boca Raton and you will still see the Limani Grille signage that has been up since the mall first announced the concept in September 2023. Back then, it was slated to open in spring 2024. It didn't. Construction delays pushed the opening back, and the storefront remained dark through two full holiday seasons. The restaurant is now expected to open this fall, alongside several other Boca Raton openings.
For anyone planning where to eat this fall, these restaurants are at different stages. Piacere is already serving, while several other openings are expected later in the season. The roundup below covers locations that are open as well as those still expected to open.
Town Center's fall openings
Limani Grille's opening has taken longer than originally planned. Announced as a first-to-market Florida concept in 2023, it was supposed to bring Aegean coast styling, a charcoal grill program, and seafood sourced through Mediterranean fishers and farmers to Town Center's dining lineup within months. The opening did not take place within the originally expected timeframe. The restaurant is now expected to open this fall, joining a Town Center roster that already includes The Capital Grille, True Food Kitchen and La Boulangerie Boul'Mich.
Café Aroma is opening its first Town Center location in the same window, bringing a Cuban coffee program into a food court corridor that has mostly been built around sit-down concepts. Check the current opening status of both restaurants before making plans.
Royal Palm Place trades sports bar energy for a supper club
The bigger swing this fall is happening a few blocks away, where Royal Palm Place is replacing Hijinks Sports Grill with Fletchers, a 1970s Palm Beach supper-club-inspired restaurant, bar and private members club at 133 SE Mizner Boulevard. The concept comes from co-founders Jake Marr and Sam Meitus, with the kitchen led by executive chef Michael Stember, a former U.S. Olympic Track Team member who built a following through his sold-out Sushi Belly Tower pop-ups in New York and Los Angeles before opening Ponyboy in Brooklyn.
The room is designed to be worked through over the course of an evening rather than visited once and left. Dinner starts around 6 p.m. in a 120-seat dining room built around New American, Japanese and Mediterranean plates, including sashimi, nigiri and an omakase tasting menu, before the night shifts into a separate lounge. A 40-seat private club called the Inner Circle sits behind that, open to paying members who want a dedicated bartender and priority reservations. It is one of the notable openings on this list, with an operator whose prior concepts have sold out.
Royal Palm Place is also picking up Black Star Bakery & Cafe, a New York bagel and espresso concept expanding outside the city for the first time, landing in a space at 201-299 Via De Palmas. Pair that with Fletchers and the district goes from a sports-bar-and-shopping stop to a place with both a morning coffee run and a late dinner reason to linger.
The Glades Road handoff
Not every change this fall is a new concept from scratch. On Glades Road, Holy Schnitzel is taking over the former Boca Grill space inside Somerset Shoppes. The kosher fast-casual chain started in Staten Island in 2015, founded by siblings Sivan and Ofeer Benaltaba, and built its menu around hand-breaded chicken schnitzel served in sandwiches, wraps and bowls, plus more than two dozen house-made sauces. The Boca location follows the format of its other Florida outposts, with schnitzel, smash burgers, falafel and vegetarian options like a Cauliflower Crunch bowl, all under rabbinical supervision.
This is a straightforward tenant change: Holy Schnitzel is bringing a format it already operates at nine locations to Boca Raton.
The strip mall that quietly became a pizza destination
West of downtown, Piacere Wood Fired Pizza has already opened at Yamato Crossing, 222 W. Yamato Road. It is the seventh location for a company that started as a food truck in Miami before founders Jorge Corona and Maria Gabriela expanded into brick-and-mortar spots across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines and Orlando. The menu runs more than 30 Neapolitan-style pizzas on scratch sourdough crust, including a black truffle and mushroom pie and a burrata and prosciutto version finished with arugula, figs and balsamic glaze, plus a star-shaped pizza with a ricotta-loaded crust.
Its Yamato Crossing location adds a west-of-downtown option to the fall lineup.
East Palmetto Park Road's quieter additions
Other fall openings also add to Boca Raton's dining options. On East Palmetto Park Road, Il Migliore is bringing a modern Italian menu built around housemade pastas and refined antipasti into a space suited for date nights and business dinners. Charm City Burger Co. is opening a second Boca Raton location, bringing back its Wagyu-forward menu, including a burger called The Emperor built around American Wagyu and Gruyère.
